For clients who want expert design direction without a full project commitment, our Design Intensive delivers focused, high-impact guidance with a quick turnaround. We begin with an on-site consultation, then handle the research and sourcing behind the scenes, returning with a clear, actionable plan you can execute with confidence. From paint colors and hardware to lighting upgrades and furniture placement, every recommendation is specific, intentional, and ready to implement.

This isn't moodboards and inspiration. It's a real plan, grounded in your actual square footage, your actual budget, and how you actually live in the space, so every decision you make from here forward is an informed one.

What's Included

On-Site Consultation An in-person site visit to review your project goals and priorities, assess existing conditions, capture measurements, and document the space through notes and photography. We'll also talk through your furnishing budget, timeline, and design preferences.

Two (2) Design Presentations A full walkthrough of the design direction, recommendations, and vision for your space.

One (1) Round of Revisions One round of revisions to the design presentation based on your feedback.

Floor Plans and Elevation Drawings As needed to communicate spatial layout and design intent.

Sourcing Guide with Project Dashboard A curated, hyperlinked product sourcing sheet organized by room.

Paint Schedule Specified paint colors, finishes, and application zones for the project.

Lighting Schedule Specified lighting fixtures, placements, and any noted switching or control recommendations.

Install Guide + Execution Meeting Step-by-step installation and styling guidance to support you in executing the design, plus a meeting to walk through it together.

What's Not Included

  • Construction, renovation, or any physical build work

  • Contractor or vendor coordination

  • Procurement or purchasing services

  • Structural, MEP, or permitting drawings

  • Additional rounds of revisions beyond the one (1) included

  • Site visits beyond the initial on-site consultation

Logistics

Upon booking, you'll receive a welcome email with next steps. Prior to booking, please make sure your schedule allows for a 90-minute on-site visit within the first seven business days after booking.

Projects must be 750 sqft or less. For larger projects, ask about our end-to-end offerings.

In some cases, the on-site consultation will require a virtual meeting. When that happens, measurements will be taken by a local third-party provider, and photos of the existing space will be taken by the client. Contact us with any questions.

Terms & Conditions

By booking, you agree to the following terms:

Scope of Service This booking is for one (1) Design Intensive as described on this page: a 4-week design sprint for a single project of 750 sqft or less, including one on-site consultation, two design presentations, one round of revisions, and the deliverables listed under "What's Included." Work outside that scope, including construction, contractor coordination, procurement, or additional site visits, is not covered under this agreement.

Payment Payment is due in full at checkout.

Scheduling Your on-site consultation must be scheduled within seven (7) business days of booking to keep your project on the 4-week timeline. Delays in scheduling on the client's part may shift the delivery date.

Revisions One round of revisions is included, based on feedback to the second design presentation. Additional rounds are available at an additional fee, quoted upon request.

Cancellations Cancellations must be made by email or phone. If cancelled before the on-site consultation, payment will be refunded minus a flat $250 cancellation fee. Once the on-site consultation has taken place, payment is non-refundable.

Use of Deliverables Design plans, drawings, and sourcing guides are provided for your personal use in executing your project. Lakaynan retains the right to photograph and share the finished space, and the design work produced, for portfolio and marketing purposes.
